Most organisations accumulate Carrier accounts with multiple carriers. Without careful management these accounts can easily get out of control. It is necessary to have logical presentation of bills mapped to the organisational hierarchy, so the authority for costs within the organisation is immediately evident. Otherwise authorisation and acceptance of accounts becomes an issue.
Recent Gartner research confirms our experience here in Australia that five to ten percent of carrier bills are not accurate, where costs are regularly charged to wrong departments, incorrect tariffs applied or charges are applied incorrectly.

A prime example, is looking at expanding in to Voice Over IP. Implementing such a process can be time consuming and costly, and prior to undertaking such a changeover it is imperative that you have a full statistics on the viability of voice over IP. Our Traffic Analysis service takes your current data and provides you with documented details and graphs on your current traffic patterns.
Depending on the current infrastructure your organisation has, together with the negotiated carrier rates, will play a large part in making such decisions and we have the tools to be able to provide you with such critical information.
Traffic analysis will also assist in assessing line capacity into your current telephone system and will also be of value to make decisions on whether or not direct links to specific sites are viable.

Billing Management and Distribution:
As part of our Billing and Analysis service, we provide our clients with a total management and distribution of bills service which incorporates Services Verification, Carrier Rate Verification and also includes producing one account detailing all carriers utilised by your organisation and covers landlines, call traffic and mobile services.
This service is extremely beneficial in giving organisations peace of mind knowing that CommsCorp have received your bill/electronic data, verified the services and their associated monthly rental charges, verified call rates and contractual obligations prior to the customer receiving their validated account.
When dealing with multi sited customers, we find this service invaluable, as it is rare that all the services connected to a site are known and easily identified and are usually signed off for payment without confirmation and verification that the service is required or in actual fact, even exists.

| Services Verification:
CommsCorp undertake a verification process of clients services which ensures that all services documented with your current carrier/s are valid and belong to you.
We find that after having completed an audit of a customers site this service is invaluable as it ensures continuity in picking up errors and additional services ordered by another party, to save substantial cost and problems, in the future.
This process is also extremely helpful in situations where you may have services with one carrier and call charges with another. We take your current bill, match it to our database of listed services and match them together. When we find additional services that have been added, we verify that the service belongs to you, that it is correctly charged at the appropriate monthly rental rate and allocate the costs to the appropriate division/cost centre accordingly. When more than one carrier is involved, we then notify the carrier providing you with call traffic service of the newly added service to ensure all costs are directed to that carrier.
Our Verification services are provided predominantly on a monthly basis but can also be undertake on an ad hoc basis, dependent upon your specific requirements. |
Carrier Rate Verification:
In addition to Services Verification, we also provide a Rates Comparison service.
This service enables, you the customer, to have peace of mind in knowing that all Call Rates, negotiated with a carrier, are in place.
We take your Telco bills, match them to the rates negotiated with the carrier and ensure that these rates are applicable during the term of the negotiated contract. Wherein errors and anomalies appear, we liaise with the carrier to ensure that such errors are corrected and rectified and that any rebates due for overcharging are implemented and are credited to your account as quickly as possible.
It is our experience, that in this day and age of computerised technology, there is always a need to Verify and Validate computerised accounts to ensure there have been no changes to the relevant accounts.
We are very much aware of the way in which one change on an account can change may other related issues and we therefore both manually and electronically check all accounts to ensure their authenticity. |
